The Tarot is an oracle of one's soul. The Cards help facilitate communication with one's inner voice, the part that you don't readily hear in everyday life. The Spirit of the Tarot speaks to the reader who then relays that message to the questioner (querent). In a sense, however, it's you talking to you!

Every reader has a different way of reading. They also have different tastes and use different decks. There are hundreds of decks available, each with its own spirit and unique twist on the language of the Tarot.

Here you will find links to articles that I have written about the Tarot. I would love it if you took the time to read them. I worked very hard on every article. Number 2, "The Tarot: From Ancient Times to the Modern World" is a research paper that I compiled in the first half of 1998. The other three articles all appeared in different issues of the American Tarot Association's Newsletter. All articles are © 1998, 1999, so if you'd like to use one, or part of one, then please contact me for permission.
